Company Description

Quaker is a leading supplier of the various fluids used in metalworking including rolling oils, can forming lubricants, and the fluids used to cool and lubricate tools when metais like steel or aluminum are drilled or machined. The company also supplies hydraulic fluids and serves the mining industry.

In 2014, Quaker acquired ECLI Products, a maker of specialty greases. The company is expanding into high end greases.

Quaker State Motor Oil is not part of Quaker Chemical. Rather it is owned by Royal Dutch Shell, which acquired the Pennzoil-Quaker State Company.
