National City Corp (NYSE: NCC) is a financial holding company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Primary businesses include commercial and retail banking, consumer finance, asset management and mortgage financing and servicing.
Company Description
National City is the largest bank in Ohio and has historically been considered it's most prestigious. At one point in time, National City was America's 9th largest bank. More recently National City Corp has been one of the hardest hit banks by the ongoing subprime crisis.
National City was acquired by PNC Bank.
