Expanded Definition
Investors should listen in on or get a transcript or audio recording of their companies' conference calls, as you'll get to hear how questions are answered, and the analysts might elicit some off-script comments or information from the executives. Information on the conference calls should be available on the investor relations portion of a company's website.
