Allied Capital (NYSE: ALD) provides long-term debt and equity investment capital to support the expansion of growing businesses in a variety of industries and in diverse geographic locations.

Company Description

Allied Capital is a business development company, or BDC, in the private equity business and is internally managed. They primarily invest in private middle market companies in a variety of industries through long-term debt and equity capital instruments. Their financing generally is used to fund buyouts, acquisitions, growth, recapitalizations, note purchases, and other types of financings.
